Context
DriverBrie runs a taxi and VTC service around Brie-Comte-Robert and the Paris region, 24 hours a day. The previous site ran on WordPress, with heavy dependencies and slow loading times.
Approach
I audited the existing site, kept the content that was worth keeping, then rebuilt everything as a static website. The goal: a fast site, easy to maintain, with no database.
Solution
A one-page site built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, with a booking module powered by Google Maps that gives an instant fare estimate, a WhatsApp button and the legal pages.
Result
The site loads in seconds, is easy to back up and to update, and gives customers a direct booking path.
